Today I played in a friend’s wedding.  We played a bunch of Sigur Ros tunes, and I had a blast.  While the pastor was speaking, I realized something – I wasn’t completely depressed.  Weddings have been a sore spot for me for a while (those who know me know why), and I’ve done my best to avoid them.  However, today was different; all I felt was joy for Kerby and his wife Kristina.  I smiled when they said the vows, even got a bit teary-eyed when I saw Kerby start crying while speaking to his wife.  It was incredible!

Father, thank you for healing this part of my life, and allowing me to share in the joy of a friend’s marriage!
